Hi everyone, dear judges, I'm Hu Qin. It's my great honor to stand here to share my teaching ideas. My lesson is uniform then and now, focus on English conversation teaching. My presentation will be divided into 5 parts, teaching background, teaching objectives, teaching strategies, teaching procedures and blackbow design.

First, let's look at the teaching background. According to the new English curriculum standard, the presentation and study of language should be based on the application of language with the purpose to improve students abilities to do things with English. And according to the key competency in English, English teaching should enhance students capacity.

From these 4 aspects based on the ideas, let's look at the teaching contacts. This book is for 6 graders, published by people's education plus. There are 4 units in this book. And today I want to talk about uniform, the 3rd lesson of this uniform.

Then and now. The topic is about the changes of people. So we have 3 parts in this lesson. Let's try, let's talk, and let's learn. And let's try and let's learn. Students can learn the new words, phrases and sentence structures. And they can improve their listening skills by doing prediction and answering questions.

And let's talk. Students can understand the new words, phrases and sentence structures. And they can improve their speaking skills by finishing tasks and reading the conversation. Based on the contacts I made. Students analysis in my class. First, they are familiar with the simple past tense of the words they have Learned before and after half and 2 years of English learning. They are familiar with teachers, body language and orders, so they can be ordered to do group work and pay work very well. Also, as 6 graders, they are energetic and curious. All of them are interested in Harry Potter's movies, so I decided to use Harry Potter as the theme line in this lesson.

Now let's look at the teaching objectives. I set up 3 teaching objectives. By the end of the class, students can recognize for new words and phrases difference, active, go cycling and play badminton, and be able to communicate with the sentence structures before now by using the simple past tense and the simple present tense. Also I hope them can aware that time has magic and it can make us become better and better.

The key points of this lesson is to let my students learn and master the new words, phrases and and sentence structures. The difficult points of this lesson is to let students master the pronunciation of the new words and make clear about the relevance expressions and use them naturally in their daily life. So in this lesson I mainly use 3 teaching strategies. The situational teaching approach, task based teaching method and the communicative approach.

To fulfill those teaching objectives I designed the following teaching procedures. There are 5 parts, warming up, presentation, practice, production, summary, and homework. In warming up, I play a short video of Harry Potter for my students and dividing students into 3 big groups. So they are raven cloud, Humboldt and Greg lord. After this video, I ask students to talk about the changes of Harry Potter. It's time. I presented the new words and the sentence structures on the blackboard. For example, before he was quiet. Now he is active. After that, I present his students pictures and they can know they are all different now. So this is the way to lead in the new lesson.

In presentation parts, I showed myself photos and asked students to do look and guess. By doing so, students can cultivate the abilities of observation and logical thinking. And then students can finish let's try by doing listen and circle.

To help students understand the meaning and the key information of the dialogue, I sent 2 tasks for my student. First, I asked them to watch the video of let's talk and answer task one. And then they can read the dialogue and finish task 2. In this way, students can clear about the changes of Mike and Jill and understand the dialogue correctly. Next, I ask students to watch the video again and read the dialogue by flowing the teeth sentence by sentence. And then they can read together. By doing so, I'm sure that students can read the dialogue correctly, fluently and emotionally.

As for practice, students did the role play first. Based on the reading, students can role play the conversation in group. And I gave some tips for my students to help them understand what should they do in these parts. I want them to be 3 in group and one can be Chung jie, one can be Mike and one can be jo. 3 minutes later I invited some groups to act out. And students is the real host in this class. So they can out, they can evaluate other groups acting. So this is an example of their performance.

And next students can learn the 2 new phrases of let's learn by doing look and say and found the changes of miss bu and Bing Bing. By doing so their speaking skills and thinking quality can be improved.

To consolidate students abilities of using the target language properly and reasonably. In production parts I give my students 3 minutes to think and share their changes. At first I gave an example of myself and help students understand how to make some conversations about their own changes with their deskmates. And then I invited several peers to share their dialogue in the class. In this way, students can consolidate the new words, phrases and sentence structures. And they can apply the expressions about the people's changes in their daily life.

Before I was shocked. I didn't like play, play. I playing football, I couldn't. Couldn't play basketball. Now I am taller, I like play football. I like playing football. I can play basketball. How about you? Before I was thought, I don't like play basketball. Playing basketball, couldn't. Swimming, no, I'm taller. I'm playback. I like play. But I can sing. I can swim. I can swim. Okay, excellent. Okay. To sum up, I gave students performance some comments. So by the end of the class, I did a summary with my students, read the new words, phrases and expressions again to consolidate the pronunciation by retelling the changes of people in this lesson. And then they can know they are all different now, and we are all different now, and time can make us become better and better. As for homework, they need to read and recite the dialogue and write down the changes of their families, friends, or their own. And I will check them next time.
